Couture, my favorite season, is here! So far yesterday’s shows have proven to be a little bit strange (blood shot Thimister?) and very fabulous, enter Christian Dior.
John Galliano played up on the already glamourous equestrian gear adding to it a rich pallette of red, pink and grey and finishing off the look by adding fancy top hats with black veils designed by the hat maker of the decade, Stephen Jones.
Aside from that Galliano was able to display his classically delicious dresses and gowns in jewel tones. But nothing can compare to this finale piece. A dusty pink satin corseted top separated by a large bow from the tiered embroidered full skirt. Overdressed would melt in it!
