The Basic Two: Black and White

Recently, the runways have been filled with sweet shades of pastels and spring delights, yet nothing compares to basic black and white. 
From classic black and white movies, the Art Deco movement, and a sense of clarity in our thoughts, black and white has transformed the way we see, dress (and think). 
Razan Alazzouni made the silk jacquard tuxedo top with hand embroidered lace, worn here with a vintage Chanel skirt and Chanel mary janes from the Paris-Londres collection.

Although Overdressed loves colour, nothing compares to a monochrome palette.
