by Aldo Sperber was founded by Dana Al Khalifa.

Dana, a lawyer by profession, obtained her Bachelors of Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and subsequently obtained her Master’s Degree in Law from King’s College, University of London.

During her studies Dana spent six years in London where she had a taste of the fashion industry which she loved, when she subsequently moved back to Bahrain she still wanted to experience the same excitement which came with every fashion season in London. After looking to find a fashion job in Bahrain Dana founded in December 2009 purely as a creative platform of expression of all things overdressed and luxurious.

Dana grew up in Bahrain in her family compound where beauty in all its forms was celebrated by her parents and paternal grandparents. Dana’s love for Bahraini heritage and attention to garment detailing come from her paternal grandmother who was a talented knitter and occasionally sewed. Dana’s love for opulence and nature came from her paternal grandfather who was a judge by profession an avid “overdresser” and passionate gardener.
